Over time, the spelling changed to “extrovert” and psychologists found there was a lot more nuance to personality types than Jung originally prescribed. Jung chose the spelling “extravert” because it made sense in Latin, but we can’t help but notice “extra” is also a good way to describe these outgoing folks.
